I’m heading to SuperZoo for the very first time this year—and to say I’m excited would be an understatement. As someone who's been working with pups for nearly two decades, this event has been on my radar for a while. Now that it’s finally happening, I’m counting down the days with a mix of curiosity, nervous energy, and a whole lot of enthusiasm.
Here’s why attending SuperZoo for the first time feels like a big deal—and why I can’t wait:
1. The Ultimate Pet Industry Playground
SuperZoo isn’t just a trade show—it’s the trade show for pet professionals. I’ve heard it described as “Disneyland for the pet industry”. Thousands of products, hundreds of exhibitors, and the chance to see the latest innovations all in one place. I'm in.
As a first-timer, I’m ready to be overwhelmed (in the best way) by the sheer scale of it all.
2. Learning Opportunities Everywhere
One of the things I’m most looking forward to is the education and the inspiration. SuperZoo isn’t just about shopping for products—it’s about leveling up. With workshops, seminars, and expert panels on everything from grooming techniques to marketing strategies, there’s so much to learn. I plan to take notes like a student on day one—and apply everything I can when I get home.
3. Connecting with People
This might be my first SuperZoo, but I already know I’ll be surrounded by people who share my vibe. Whether I’m meeting fellow pet entrepreneurs, groomers, retailers, or product developers, I’m excited to finally be in a space where everyone shares my passion. The energy, the conversations, the inspiration—I’m ready for it all.
4. Inspiration I Can Take Home
I know I’ll leave SuperZoo with more than a tote bag full of samples. I’ll be going home with fresh ideas, new perspectives, and a deeper connection to why I do what I do. Whether I discover a product that solves a problem I’ve been facing, gain inspiration for the product(s) I hope to develop, or spark a new idea for my business, I know this experience will be a turning point.
5. Making It Real
For a long time, I’ve watched SuperZoo from the sidelines—scrolling through Instagram posts, reading recaps, and thinking,"hopefully next year." Well, this year I will be there, and that feels like a milestone worth celebrating.
Attending SuperZoo for the first time isn’t just about seeing what’s new in the pet world—it’s about stepping into that world more fully. I’m ready to soak it all in.
Vegas, I’ll see you soon. And SuperZoo? I’m coming with wide eyes, an open mind, and a heart full of excitement.
